Guest Speaker: Agneta Dahl

When disaster strikes, are you ready?

How can we prepare ourselves and our homes to better survive a catastrophe. 

Agneta Dahl, born and raised in Sweden has over 30 years of global experience in disaster preparedness and incident management and is a FEMA-certified Master Exercise Practitioner.

We will especially learn about earthquakes, fire and storm preparedness

Agneta Dahl, born and raised in Sweden to a Swedish mother and Norwegian father, has lived in the U. S. since she was 14. She became a U.S. citizen right after graduating college and 4 years later, joined the U.S. Coast Guard. She retired from the USCG at the rank of Commander after 22 years of service in CA, WA, AK, DC, and Sweden. 

She has over 30 years of global experience in disaster preparedness and incident management and is a FEMA-certified Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP). She is the founder and president of Paratus LLC, a small, woman owned business providing comprehensive incident and crisis preparedness and management services as well as International Safety Management (ISM) code compliance support. Her clients are predominantly in the Oil and Gas and Maritime sectors. 

Agneta holds a Master of Science in Quality Systems Management from the New England School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Mary Washington. She is multi-lingual, and a dual citizen of the United States and Norway.
