Pancake Breakfast

Pancake Breakfast | 8 AM - 1PM

Indulge in a morning of delectable delights and community at our monthly Pancake Breakfast! Whether you're a Swedish pancake connoisseur or just looking to try something new, this event is sure to satisfy your taste buds and bring a smile to your face.

Band performances on 12/7/25:

8:00 - 9:30am - Skandia Kapell

10:00 - 11:30am - Nordic Spirit

11:45 - 1:15pm - Folk Voice Band

New Monthly Dance at the Swedish Club after the Sunday Pancake Breakfasts!

This Fall, Skandia and the Swedish Club will co-sponsor Nordic dances after the Sunday pancake breakfasts at the Swedish Club.  The dances will be 1-3 pm on December 7, and January 4.

The dances will be fun and easy, including Waltz, Schottis, mixers, Hambo, and Telegangar.  Some short teaching sessions (mixers, Rørospols) will be interspersed through the afternoon.  On September 7 Skandia Kapell will provide live music.

The focus is on beginners; advanced dancers are welcome as well.  Singles and couples are welcome.  We will change partners frequently, and anybody can do either role.  Bring clean shoes to change into, with smooth soles and low flat heels for easy turning.  If you don't have dance shoes, we have dance socks to help you turn easily.

The cost for the dance will be $10.  Come eat pancakes and then dance!
